WWW: A fantastic start to Media Studies – well done for completing all your blog work! Your fruit bowl is creative and well designed and showcases your technical ability. It is promising that you are aiming for a top Grade for your GCSE grade – let’s achieve this! I respect your honesty about your screen time and well down for breaking down exactly what you are using your smartphone for.

EBI: Ensure that all blog work is completed to a high standard and complete any extension work if you would like to achieve a top grade in the subject. For the Mise-en-scene and camerawork blog I feel you could have written slightly more and used further media terminology to extend your analysis responses.

Reflect on your first month of Media. What do you feel is your strongest piece of work so far? What is your weakest? What specific skills or knowledge do you need to develop over the rest of the course?

I think my strongest piece of work is my fruit bowl task because I spent a lot of time on it and put a lot of creativity into it.

I think y weakest piece of work is my camera work task as I struggled to explain how the shots and angles affected the scenes.

I think I need to develop my inference skills and my skills to understand what different techniques add to the piece of media.
